I went to a runners store to buy shoes because I was experiencing pain with a bunion while trying to exercise. I do not run. I first tried a New Balance shoe that I returned because my foot just moved around in it too much (I tried several inserts and a variety of lacing techniques.) I gave up and tried the Brooks Addiction 8 Running Shoe after reading reviews of Addition 7. Well…Problem solved…what a comfortable shoe.

They have even washed very nicely. The mesh keeps my feet cool and I am able to tie the shoe to hold my heels and arches in place while leaving my toes and the balls of my feet free in the shoe.

Excellent shoe. I’ve been wearing them for about a year and a half. I have neuromas in both feet and need the extra wide toe box that the Men’s Brooks Addiction Walker has in the 4E (which is actually a 4E).
